I was fortunate enough to be selected as production designer for the short film Sage at the beginning of 2022. The film is about a young trans woman living in the mid 1990s and working to find her way in a world that seems dead set on seeing her fail. I inherited the project from Jenna Tooley, who gave me a skeleton outline of what was likely to be needed and went froward from there. I worked closely with the director producer and art department to create the final look in a short period of time. I planned and styled the overall appearance of the locations, acquired props and set pieces according to the film's needs, handmade specialized props and dressed four different sets in order to help bring this film to fruition.
